But of That Day and Hour No Man Knows

"That Day and Hour" Matthew 24:36

How can it be said that Christ returned in 70AD while at the same time the Bible said no man knows the day and the hour? Many say this proves that Christ's parousia did not occur in connection with the fall of Jerusalem.

They reason that when the Scriptures speak of the fall of Jerusalem it speaks of "those days" as in plural. However, when the subject changes to the return of Christ, they reason that it speaks of "that day" singular, thus making a distinction.

In this podcast we address the subject of "that day and hour" found in Matthew 24:36 from that perspective. You'll find this to be a very rewarding study. For more studies in Eschatology visit our blog at AllThingsFulfilled.com

Prophesying the End of the World 2012

The year 2012 is dawning upon us and with it will be more speculation on the end of the world. In today's podcast we present some of the reasons why 2012 will be another year as the previous as far as the end of the world as we know it is concerned. The End of the World May 21, 2011 was exposed as the work of charlatans preying upon the uninformed masses who believed that the end was near. Many sold possessions believing they would be raptured from the earth.

It is sad that some radio ministries carry more authority with people than the Bible. We're not against radio ministries. We have one of our own. What we hope to encourage is that people read to ensure they are not being sold a bill of goods about the end of the planet.

Such fatalism sounds good, is commercially profitable but is not scriptural. Check out today's podcast for more information on the end of the world 2012. Also visit the blog for the written version here at  End of the World 2012 AllThingsFulfilled.com

Prophecy and the House of Prayer

In Isaiah 56, Isaiah prophesied of the coming kingdom of God. He saw the time when all nations would come into the kingdom of God. What is unique is that the northern kingdom, foreigners and Eunuchs were all considered outcasts. Yet, God would bring them all into the body of Christ and allow them to enter into the house of prayer. God's house of prayer is the goal of eschatology. It is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth, (1 TIm. 3:15). It corresponds with the kingdom.  For more information see house of prayer.

Eschatology and the Local Church

What is the role of eschatology and the local church especially in the light of the fulfillment of all things in the first century? Does the local church play a meaningful role? Is there anything we should be doing in the body of Christ? Today's podcast is a response to such questions. This study will give you the confidence to proclaim the gospel message as relevant as it was when it was first preached.

We touch on the types and shadows of the local church in prophecy, the great tribulation and the role of the local church in crisis and the emergence of the local church post AD70 in the plan and purpose of Christ. For some great eschatology charts, see "The Local Church Survives the Great Tribulation".

End of the World 2012|Population Control

Why  should anyone be concerned with population control if we have an end of the world 2012 event? Scientists concerned about the rise in population in the year 2050 seek solutions for the expected 10 billion people who occupy the earth's real estate. Seems scientists don't have much faith in the alleged Rapture or End of the World 2012 Mayan Calendar.  They are looking for practical, but not necessarily (in my opinion) humane ways of taking care of what they feel will be a burden on the world's resources.

If the earth will be destroyed next year and the Rapture occurs soon, what's the big deal. Automatic population control right? Seems that futurist eschatology hasn't convinced many people that we won't need the earth due to its annihilation. Today's podcast takes a brief look at the concern with population growth and the alleged end of the world 2012. For

Seed of Abraham - Who Are They?

Today's podcast completes our study from the day before on the seed of Abraham. Both lessons should be studied together to get the full impact of the message. It should become very clear as Abraham's lineage is traced that he has no physical descendants who were to inherit the promises through him. Study carefully the Gen. 22 and observe what he does to Isaac then compare with Hebrews 11:17-19.

Based on those events no physical descendant of Abraham could have an inheritance to the promises of Gen. 12:3. In fact, not even Christ himself, which is why he had to die to the realm of the flesh and rise in the realm of the Spirit. The Seed of Abraham defines the nature, scope and time of the receiving of the promise of God. Your comments on this study would be greatly appreciated.

Kingdom Parable- A Sower Went Forth to Sow

Of all the teachings of Christ, some of those which are most memorable and provoke the most interest and thought are His parables on the kingdom of God. These parables give us many insights into the nature, time and establishment of the kingdom that are often lacking in other passages. They convey the various shades of meaning and nuances especially as it relates to the time and its bearing on eschatology. The parable of the sower is no exception. Encouched within it are very subtle almost unnoticeble references to the endtime events clothed within the everyday words of the culture of Jesus' day. Check out the podcast, remember to subscribe and share with your friends. For more information on the parables, see parables of the kingdom.

Spiritual Gifts Discernment - Are You A Mind-Reader?

Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man; his number is 666. (Rev. 13:18) This verse is one of the mysteries that a person who had the gift of discernment could easily unravel. Yet it baffles the minds of learned scholars to this very day.

God is knows the secrets of all hearts. He reveals secrets. Yet, no one can know what is in His mind unless His Spirit reveals it. The same is true for man. The only way our minds can be known is by our spirit dwelling within us.

What then of those who claim the powers to read minds and discern spirits by supernatural intervention? Could they reveal the dream of Nebuchadnezzar as did Daniel?  Could they know that Ananias and Sapphira were lying to God? Today's podcast shed's light on the spiritual gift of discernment. When a person prophesied through inspiration in the New Testament, another person judged him, (1 Cor. 14:29).

Do we have such mind-readers and truth discerning today? Listen and share with your family and friends. For more studies about spiritual gifts and eschatology go here now.
